      The Scouters Key is awarded for several different areas of achievement
      and is for more than just Scoutmasters.  The following are the areas

              Training Committee Action 
        
          - The leadership training committee has reviewed this application and
            accepts the certifications as to the candidate's meeting the required standards. The
            Scoutmaster's Key is approved.
 
         
        Complete training as outlined by the local council, including
        earning the Commissioner's Key. Exploring service team members complete training as
        outlined by the local council.

 - Earn the Varsity Scout Leader Training Award.
        
 - Attend at least six Varsity Scout Leader Huddles during each year

      At least twice during the three-year period, serve as Coach of a
      Varsity Scout team that earns the National Quality Unit Award. 
      VARSITY SCOUT LEADER LETTER

        - Complete Varsity Scout Leader Fast Start training.

      Tenure 
      Complete a minimum of six months as a registered Varsity Scout leader. 
      Huddle Attendance

 - Attend at least (4) Venturing Roundtables or VOA meetings each year.

          position. Discuss the role of the district and your position with your

 - Complete the District Committee Training Workshop.
 
       
      Tenure 
      
      Complete three years as a district committee member within a 5-year
      period.
      Performance 
      
        - Your district must earn the Quality District Award at least once
          within a 3-year period.
        
 - Take part actively in six district committee meetings.
        
 - Help give leadership to eight projects of your operating committee
          or other projects as approved by your district executive (organizing a
          unit, running a training course, planning a camporee event, completing
          an SME assignment, etc.).
